Prepare a stack of St. Patrick's Day picture cards and a stack of matching word cards to go with picture cards and associated St. Patrick's day objects.

Place objects in plastic shoe box .

Place stack of picture cards and a stack of word card outside box.

Have child select an object.  Find picture card with object on it and use picture card  with word on it to find word card with name of object.
